About Us - Professional Trainer: Kristina M., Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Sports Science from Concordia University in Irvine
|
Kristina, our newest addition to Mr. Jill’s, received her bachelors degree from Concordia University Irvine in Exercise Sports Science. She is currently pursuing her certification from the National Sports and Conditioning Association. Kristina has completed at total of 300 internship hours at the MVP Sports Center and Physical Therapy. She has also been an intern at the Santa Ana College Fire Technology Department administering and implementing physiological testing.
Kristina’s love for sports and exercise began at a very early age. She played competitive soccer for 10 years and ran cross-country for an additional 5 years. Lately, Kristina has taken up boxing in her spare time. She also enjoys snowboarding, weight training, and cycling.
Kristina took her first anatomy and physiology class in high school and soon developed the passion for exercise science. Since then she has explored a few different avenues of sports science such as athletic training, physical therapy, and sport chiropractic. It was at her internship performing exercise testing for firefighters with the Santa Ana Fire Technology Department where she found her love for exercise physiology and personal fitness training.
When it comes to personal training, Kristina loves working with anybody that is motivated and willing to make the commitment to better health and fitness; male or female, young or mature, athletic or a rank beginner. Kristina finds gratification in making a difference in the way people feel about themselves mentally and physically. Whether it is by helping someone lose weight, become a better athlete, or just trying to improve overall strength, Kristina is here to help.
